Organizers are finding fans to eat dressed up in their best 80s looks – Think Corduroy Pants, Velcro Sneakers, Acid Wash Jeans, Leg Warmers and Scrunchies – Ready to Dance Through the Upside Down. The Event Promises Hits From The Show’s Soundtrack As Well As A Night of Steamous Synthwave and Retrowave Tracks, All Set Against A Backdrop of “Immersive Visuals” to Match.
The “Stranger Things Rave” Joins A Growing List of Nostalgic Television- and Movie-Themed Raves Cropping Up All Across The Country, where cult Fandoms Meet Electronic Music in Amazingly Imaginative Ways. From Shrek-Themed Ravesto Pokémon Parties and PowerPuff dancefloors, The Line Between Pop Culture and Rave Culture Keeps Getting Beautifully Blurrier.
