The singer and composer bets on unpublished themes to demonstrate the talent of Peruvian artists.
The renowned musician and singer -songwriter Alexander Blas joins singer Pamela Franco to launch a new song that promises to conquer the scenarios of national and international cumbia. The theme is titled ‘Nor drinking you will forget me’, it is an unpublished song whose original music and lyrics are of the authorship of the popular ‘Prince of the Romantic Cumbia ”.
‘Nor drinking you are going to forget me’ it officially opens on all digital platforms this June 2. The musical arrangements of the song are also by Alexander Blas, who has managed to carry out a new tropical subgenre that has called ‘Cumbia Love’ and that promises to dance to the public because it is a fusion of sticky and cheerful sounds of Chicha, with touches of Bailanta Argentina, Ballenato accordions, Mexican strings and the rhythmic base of Peruvian cumbia.
Alexander Blas, composer of several musical successes with other singers and also as a soloist, highlighted the talent of Pamela Franco and pointed out that now that he already has a professional career it is important to reaffirm his talent with his own songs. “I was inspired by the lyrics in a memory of some past love that told me those words when I used to go to the discos every weekend,” says the musician and interpreter of ‘Remove my life’ and ‘El Chalatán’.
The Peruvian producer and businessman, founder and owner of Boveda Records, a Peruvian record company who focuses on promoting and developing Peruvian and Latin American music stressed that he decided to do this feat with Pamela Franco “because of her great vocal range and because she demonstrated her great professionalism when recording the song in a couple of past, it is very easy to work with her in the studio.”
