Raphy Pina enjoys PR again with his children
Producer and manager of urban genre exponents, Rafael “Raphy” Pina Nieves, continues to celebrate his return to Puerto Rico after serving more than two years in a federal prison in the United States for his Weapons Law case.
Through social media, Pina posted a video where she is seen enjoying herself with her children on her boat called “La Pinarazzi” in the Fajardo marina.
“Now we are live. I am ready to live. My people, I have the whole family here, throw in the screenshots,” Pina said with a smile in one part of the video.
The Puerto Rican producer is having a great time after being released last May after serving a 41-month prison sentence. Pina was sentenced in May 2022 to three years and five months behind bars. Federal judge Francisco Besosa was in charge of the sentence for two charges of illegal possession of weapons for which he was found guilty in December 2021.
Expressions after his return
After serving his sentence, Pina returned to social media last July where he spoke about several pending issues with his followers.
“I am grateful, I am a little nervous because I would like to talk about so many things. I would like to start by thanking my entire family, my mother, my children and my partner Natalia, who I want to tell publicly that I did not fail in choosing such a wonderful person,” began saying Pina Nieves, who appeared on camera for the first time in more than two years.
During his Instagram stream in July, he did not provide specific details of his case, but he said he would soon address all the speculation that was published while he was in prison. He also said that many “lies” were told about what actually happened. However, in the video he admitted that he made a mistake.
“I had some guns in a house, I made a mistake, they were in my house, which did not belong to me,” was part of what he said, in addition to admitting that he did not know that he should throw away the ammunition he had on his property and that if he had known, he would have thrown it away.
Regarding the hundreds of letters he received, he once again thanked the support of those close to him and his fans who communicated with him through letters, which he assured he will continue to answer now that he is in the free community.
