For BODY COUNThas been a story of being respected and feared at the same time – a thread of barbs that goes back to the band’s origins as a project between Ice-T and his friend from Crenshaw High, Ernie C. his first shot, the song, «Body Count“, was a declaration of intentions on the album Ice-T from 1991 «OG – Original Gangster«.

They struck a chord with their first album, self-titled 1991, and its divisive track, “Cop Killer“, which inspired generations of later bands. What they got out of growing up with Black Sabbath and to be inspired by Los Angeles legends such as Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies has only raised the stakes for generations of metalheads and hardcore fans. The current lineup of BODY COUNT includes Ice, Ernie C. and Sean E Seanwho have been joined by the bassist Vincent Pricethe drummer Will “Ill Will” Dorsey, Juan “Juan of the Dead” García and the chorister Little Ice.
