The dynamic crowdfunding platform ZOOP will be featured at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. The company has plans to showcase a card game demo for HACK/SLASH, and will also be doing a standalone panel on late Saturday afternoon at 5:30.

A home for creator-owned crowdfunding, ZOOP is an all-in-one pre-order, production, fulfillment, and marketing platform very much built for comics creators seeking to fulfill indie campaigns. The company has already launched a series of successful indie comics and graphic novels in the past year, on titles such as BARBARIC BORN IN BLOOD, LET HER BE EVIL, and COMICS ARE DYING: THE COMIC (which is re-opened/back for SDCC as an exclusive).

Events kick off on Saturday from 1-3 PM PST at The Marriott Hotel Pacific Ballroom 21 where the team will be hosting a Game Demo for their first-ever deckbuilding card game for Hack/Slash. The 1-6 player deck builder will recreate some of the best moments of the longstanding horror comic book series, all for a fun cooperative game.

Afterward, Zoop will be hosting a panel called Crowdfunding Comics with Zoop! On Saturday, 7/27/24 from 5:30 to 6:30 in room 7AB. Joining the Zoop team on stage are Eisner nominee Tim Seeley (Local Man, Mach/Slash), and artist Camilla D’Errico (Pop Manga), along with a major mystery surprise guest. In attendance will of course, also be co-founders of ZOOP Jordan Plosky and Eric Moss.

It should also be noted that members of the press are welcome to both events and the Zoop team is available for interviews, comments, or questions about the game, the platform, and crowdfunding as a whole.
