At least eleven people died, five of them children, and eight were injured this Saturday in a Russian bombing against the city of Pokrovsk, in the east of Ukraine, announced the regional governor.
“The Russians bombed the region with S-300 missiles, killing eleven people and wounding eight others” , indicated on Telegram Vadim Filashkin, governor of the Donetsk region, who specified that the “main” attack occurred “in Pokrovsk and Rivné, in the aggloremation of Myrnohrad”.

The leader released some photographs in which rescuers appear among the rubble. According to him, the bombing damaged six homes.
The town of Pokrovsk, which had 60,000 inhabitants before the war, was already bombed in August 2023, in an attack that left nine dead and 82 injured.
