A Colombian judge sent Andrés Alcires Bolívar, alias ‘El Negro’, and Marlon Rafael Brito, known as ‘Marlon’, to prison this Wednesday as allegedly responsible for the kidnapping of Luis Manuel Diazfather of the footballer Luis Diaz that was in the power of the guerrilla THE N for 12 days.
The Prosecutor’s Office detailed in a statement that these two people are accused of “participate in illegal activities related to the planning and execution of the criminal action, which occurred on October 28” in the municipality of Canyonsin the Caribbean department of La Guajira.

‘The black‘ and ‘Marlon‘ They were charged with the crimes of extortionate kidnapping, simple kidnapping; and manufacturing, trafficking and carrying of weapons, restricted-use ammunition, exclusive use of the Armed Forces or explosives, charges that they did not accept.
Luis Manuel Diaz was handed over on November 9 to a humanitarian commission of the UN Mission in Colombia and of the Catholic Church in the foothills of the mountain range of Perijanear Barrancas, where he was kidnapped on October 28.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, ‘El negro’ was a merchant of Maicaomunicipality located in La Guajira, and was contacted by an alleged member of the National Liberation Army (THE N) “to help him carry out the idea that the criminal organization had of kidnapping the athlete’s father”.
“The two men, apparently, moved to Barrancas and convinced a person who was close to the Díaz family to participate in the illegal plan. In this way they learned the routines and movements of the victims”, added the information.

Meanwhile, ‘Marlon’ “is designated to support the obtaining of information and the definition of the logistics to carry out the kidnapping“, just as he was in charge of devising a deception to bring Díaz’s father “to the point where they were held”.
During the operation in which these people were detained, the authorities also captured Brayan Javier Morales Sanjuan “for having 5.56 mm caliber cartridges and cocaine in his possession”, for which he was charged with manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition, and trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
