The new wave of Nu Metal is here.
The 30 track, two disc album was announced November 25th via the “Crazy Ass Moments In Nu Metal History,” account, with preorders available now via bandcamp. The compilation consists of 15 classic Nu Metal covers and 15 original tracks from each band. DGMA’s cover of “My Own Summer (Shove it)” by Deftones is available to listen to now as well as their single, “Fall Out Of My Jaw.” The compilation in its entirety will be available for streaming on December 13th.
Holiday Kirk stated when the compilation was announced: “I came up with the idea for the Brand Spankin Nu Metal Show after the 2nd Sick New World lineup dropped. I just knew on impact that major corporate interest in “nu metal revival” was fading and that we’d have to make this happen on our own if we wanted to succeed.”
